Help me grow!
- I am a delicate plant but can thrive with proper love and care.
- I love warmth (18-25 degrees Celsius), but not the cold, so keep me indoors.
- I love damp soil, so water me regularly, but don’t let me drown or let the pot become water-logged.
- Indirect light suits me best. Too much shade or direct light and my beauty will be affected.
- Fertilize me twice a month during the growing season (summer) and once a month in winters to help me flourish.
FAQs
- My Spider plant’s leaves are browning. What do I do?
Browning leaves indicate a problem with my watering. Overwatering makes my leaves black or dark brown. Make sure the soil dries out before you water. My leaves curl due to two reasons - under-watering or over-brightness. If I’m underwatered or the light is too bright, I curl my leaves to protect myself. Just water me more and move me to a shadier spot. - How do I know it’s time to repot my spider plant?
Report me when I’m large and my fleshy roots are highly visible. This means I have become too big for my pot. I am super easy to propagate. Simply plant my small spiderettes in new pots and you have many new plants.
